Located in a long and narrow plot, the house was drawn from an “offset” of these limits and was structured into three main volumes: Main Entrance, Social Volume and Private Volume. The relationship between “filled” and “void” spaces defines not only the relationship with the surrounding landscape but also the internal privacy relations between the several living spaces. On the other hand, there is also a reversal of the importance between the front and the rear of the house: the front, facing the street, was designed for a discrete presence, enhancing only the relationship between the volumes; the rear stands up with another relevance opening itself to the surrounding landscape.
