Assemble – Transform – Claim!! The project intended to call inhabitants and other publics to build a cardboard chair and to occupy spaces in the city — we were claiming the relational aspect of the urban experience. From the construction of 500 cardboard chairs, these spaces were occupied and claimed. The chair became the collective symbol of a wish for appropriation and sociability, an action-object capable to formulate new urban experiences and behaviors that the contemporary urban culture tends to erase.
